This page explains what data we collect when you write to Climática, what we use it for, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights.

Data we collect
Name, email address, organization (optional), area of interest and the message you send us. We also keep a record of your consent and the date you gave it.
Purpose
Solely to answer your enquiry and coordinate possible collaborations. We do not use your data for advertising or to build profiles.
We do not sell or transfer your data
The data you send us is never sold or transferred to third parties.
International transfer
Our hosting and database provider runs servers located outside Peru, so your data is subject to an international transfer. We also use Resend (United States) to send notifications about new messages and Gmail (Google) to receive them.
How long we keep it
Messages are kept for a maximum of 12 months from the date they are received, then deleted automatically.
Your ARCO rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or objection to the processing of your data by writing to climatica.peru@gmail.com.
Right to complain
If you believe we did not handle your request properly, you may complain to the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights (MINJUSDH).
No tracking
This site uses no analytics cookies and no third-party scripts that track visitors.
Abuse prevention
To prevent mass or automated submissions, we store an encrypted code derived from your IP address for 10 minutes. We never store the IP address itself, and the code is deleted automatically within 1 day at most.
